Giana’s Day
Giana Abraham is a junior majoring in both neuroscience and psychology with a minor in political science.
She is involved in an array of student groups and initiatives, including Collegium V Honors Council, the University Emergency Medical Response and the Freshman Mentor Program. The student body recently elected her to serve as president of Student Government for 2025-2026.
She has been interning with the Alliance for Health Policy. Abraham was an Archer Fellow in fall 2024 and currently conducts research in the labs of Dr. Sven Kroener and Dr. Steven Small.
She participated in a study abroad program led by Dr. Donal Skinner, dean of the Hobson Wildenthal Honors College, to London and Scotland that focused on the history of medicine. Abraham hopes to pursue medicine with a focus on research, public service and patient advocacy. In her (little) free time, she enjoys teaching herself how to skateboard and play guitar, reading from her ever-growing list of book recommendations and feeding her love of boba tea.
