Hela Almissouri is a healthcare studies sophomore.

Hela is on the pre-optometry track. She’s involved in Students Promoting Acts of Random Kindness (SPARK), Pre-Optometry Professional Society and will be one of the First Year Leaders (FYLs) in the fall. Since coming to UTD, she has taken care to improve her time-management skills and worked to become more extroverted and involved.

Warda Rahman is an information technology sophomore.

Warda is part of the Habesha Student Union, on the e-board for National Society of Black Engineers, and a part of African Student Union. She’s been working to build personal and professional connections in her time at UTD while maintaining focus on academics.
