Nyra Parveez is a political science sophomore.

A Texas native, Nyra has set her sights on law school and joined the John Marshall Pre-Law Society and Women Pursuing Law group to chase her dream of becoming a criminal defense attorney. Outside of her legal interests, Nyra is part of Phi Theta Kappa, Tau Sigma Honors Society and the Table Tennis Club. She enjoys extracurriculars related to teaching young children at the rec center, volunteering with youth groups, and playing badminton.

Nyra lives off campus, so she likes to get to class early and use her time to the fullest. When she’s not in class or attending a student organization function, Nyra likes to hang out with her friends on campus, play sports, or binge her favorite shows to unwind.
